"Most "graphic designers" don't understand about functionality, code, usability and technical issues. As a result their designs / websites are purely visual, don't alway fulfill the business needs of their clients and/or are poorly put together. Alternatively, most "web designers" have expertise regarding technical complexities, code, adhering to compliance guidelines and often don't understand about branding, colourschemes and layout, conveying a message, brand or target audience. Sometimes even the experience of the website visitor / customer is misunderstood the site can be made too complicated.I like to think i provide a unique service to clients as a web & graphic designer as i have extensive experience in both graphics and as well as coding and functionality and that is something that is difficult to find. I also am a small business owner so i also understand about time constraints, budgets, making the most of your website and customer services that some of the larger design agencies and development houses dont always consider.
