During our years of experience we have built up a process which starts with documenation (see the example left ), which helps the client work out what exactly they want the site to do, how navigation will work, ideas for design and what the site objectives are.

This process all occurs on paper before any design programming or coding has commenced, this means that common stumbling blocks are nutted out before work begins, items and objectives can be defined and future strategies put into place without additional costs that are incurred if this happens after the project has started.

Due to this process we have found that the site lifecycle tends to be longer and the design and development process flows very smoothly.

1. What is the objective for having a website ? Is it to provide information on your product or service ? Are you selling a product? How will you gauge the website's success? Do you need to caputure information about your visitors?
2. What sections / pages will your site contain ? List them point form is fine
3. What type of information will the pages contain? Text and photos, reports or tables, shopping cart / products ? Roughly how much information is there 5 A4 pages or 50 ?
4. Do you have an existing style, colours or logo? Not necessary but helps if you send that along with your requirements
5. Can you list some other sites you like? What about your competitors ?
6. Will be providing advertising or link exchanges on your site?
7. How do you plan on maintaing the site ? Will you like us to provide a maintenance agreement ? Or would you like to update the site yourself?
8. Forms? What type of forms if any do you plan on having? Where do you want information from the form to go? to a database or email? Please provide a list of the fields you require.
9. Do you need us to source photos, create illustrations and create icons? (note these may incurr additional costs).
10. How do you expect visitors to find your site ?
11. What are you website hosting arranagements? What hosting plan are you on? Do you know which technology you want your site built in or are you looking for advice on this?

Photos & Illustration
We can also provide illustration services or source photos for an additional cost. These might be just the thing to make your business you stand out amoungst the crowd.

Logos
If you need a logo, or a logo revamp a good time to do it is when you redo your website. We can include a logo design and or banner graphics as part of your web development.
